Order of Lord Of The Isles Books

American fantasy author David Drake crafted the Lord of the Isles series, weaving together elements from Sumerian religious traditions and medieval technology to create a rich fantastical world. The saga follows six central characters: Garric or-Reise, Sharina os-Reise, Cashel or-Kenset, Ilna os-Kenset, Tenoctris the Wizard, and Liane bos-Benliman.

Drake launched this fantasy epic in 1997 with the inaugural novel Lord of the Isles, continuing the core series through six books until its completion in 2004 with Master of the Cauldron. The author then expanded the universe with an additional trilogy, starting with The Fortress of Glass in 2006 and wrapping up with The Gods Return in 2008. The books follow both publication and chronological order:

Lord of the Isles Synopsis: The opening installment of Drake's series introduces readers to inhabitants of a coastal village whose lives are forever transformed after surviving a devastating tempest. Their journey leads them into a world filled with romance, peril, and mystical forces that will reshape not only their destinies but the fate of their entire realm.
