Order of Forward Collection Books

Blake Crouch conceived The Forward Collection as an anthology of standalone short stories, each penned by a different acclaimed author. The series emerged from a conversation Crouch had with his partner about technology's dual nature – while we've witnessed remarkable technological progress, some developments leave us wishing we could turn back the clock.

This reflection on technology's double-edged sword became the foundation for Crouch's contribution to the collection, "Summer Frost." Inspired by this theme, he assembled an impressive roster of writers to explore similar concepts: N.K. Jemisin, Paul Tremblay, Veronica Roth, Andy Weir, and Amor Towles. Each author brings their unique perspective to questions about technological advancement and its unintended consequences.
