Order of Five Senses Books

American fantasy author Andre Norton crafted the Five Senses series, a collection of fantasy novels where each book explores one of the human senses as its central theme.

Norton launched this series in 1994 with The Hands of Lyr, continuing to develop the concept across five books until the final installment, A Taste of Magic, appeared in 2006. The concluding volume was written in collaboration with Jean Rabe. While the novels share the common thread of sense-based themes, they function as standalone stories with loose connections between them, allowing readers to enjoy each book independently.
