Order of Fire and Ice Books

The Fire and Ice series is a collection of crime thriller novels penned by English author Michael Ridpath. At the heart of these stories is Magnus Jonson, an Icelandic-American protagonist with a unique background. Born in Iceland but brought up in Boston, Magnus has made his way back to his native Iceland where he works as a homicide detective. Despite being crafted by a British writer, the series embraces the distinctive style of Scandinavian crime fiction.
