Order of Dog Team Books

American author William W. Johnstone created the Dog Team series, a collection of spy thriller and action-adventure novels that would later be continued by J.A. Johnstone. At the heart of these books is the Dog Team, a covert unit of elite soldiers, with Terry Kovak standing as the sole survivor of this legendary squad. Notably, Johnstone considered The Last of the Dog Team to be his personal favorite among all his written works.

Johnstone penned just one book in this series – The Last of the Dog Team, published in 1980. Following William W. Johnstone's passing, Fred Austin authored the series' first sequel before J.A.
