Order of Diagnosis Murder Books
Lee Goldberg, an American author, screenwriter, and producer, created the Diagnosis: Murder mystery novel series as television tie-ins to the popular CBS drama that aired for eight seasons. The TV show featured Dick Van Dyke as Dr. Mark Sloan, a physician who assisted the LAPD in solving crimes alongside his detective son Steve Sloan, portrayed by Van Dyke's real-life son Barry. As an executive producer on the television series, Goldberg brought his insider knowledge to these literary adaptations.
Goldberg launched his Diagnosis: Murder book series in 2003 with The Silent Partner and wrapped it up in 2007 with The Last Word, mirroring the TV show's eight-season run with eight novels total. The books follow both publication and chronological order, making them easy for fans to read sequentially.
