Order of Captain Underpants Books
This beloved children's book series by American author Dav Pilkey centers around the friendship between George Beard and Harold Hutchins, two creative best friends who invent a comic book superhero called Captain Underpants. Through an unexpected turn of events, the boys manage to hypnotize their school principal, Mr. Krupp, into believing he actually is their comic book creation, transforming him into the real Captain Underpants. The spell can be broken whenever Mr. Krupp gets splashed with water, turning him back into his regular principal self.
Dav Pilkey launched this popular series in 1997 with The Adventures of Captain Underpants, and continues to add new installments to the ongoing series.
