Order of Capital Crimes Books

American novelist Margaret Truman created the Capital Crimes mystery series alongside Donald Bain, featuring an ensemble cast rather than a single main character. The books showcase several recurring figures throughout the series, including Mackensie Smith (a former criminal lawyer), Annabel Reed (who owns a gallery), and Max Pauling (an ex-CIA operative who became a pilot).
