Order of Attolia Books

The Attolia series is a collection of young adult fantasy novels written by American author Megan Whalen Turner. At the heart of these books is Gen, a clever young thief who boasts he can steal absolutely anything. Turner employs multiple narrators throughout the series to tell this captivating story, set in the fantasy world of Attolia. You may also encounter this series under its alternate titles: The Queen's Thief or Thief of Eddis.

The series has its roots in a short story called "Thief!" which appears in Turner's 1995 short story collection Instead of Three Wishes. This evolved into the first full-length novel, The Thief, published in 1996. The series continues to this day, with new installments still being released.
