Ann Lindell serves as the protagonist in Swedish author Kjell Eriksson's acclaimed Scandinavian crime series. This compelling detective operates from Uppsala, Sweden's fourth-largest city, located in Scandinavia's most populous nation.
Eriksson launched the Ann Lindell series in 1999 with Den upplysta stigen, written in Swedish but not yet available in English translation. English-speaking readers first encountered Lindell through The Princess of Burundi, actually the fourth book in the Swedish sequence but the inaugural English release.
