Order of Acorna Books

Acorna serves as the central character in an enchanting fantasy series created by Anne McCaffrey, Margaret Ball, and Elizabeth Ann Scarborough. This remarkable unicorn girl possesses an array of extraordinary abilities including healing powers, the capacity to stimulate plant growth, purification of water and air, detection of poisons and mineral deposits, identification of metals and chemical imbalances, and telepathic abilities. The popularity of her adventures eventually led to the creation of a companion series, Acorna's Children.

Readers first encountered Acorna in "Acorna: The Unicorn Girl," published in 1997 through the collaboration of Anne McCaffrey and Margaret Ball. The original series continued through 2004, followed by the Acorna's Children books which ran from 2005 to 2007. The writing partnership evolved throughout the series' run, with McCaffrey and Ball penning the initial two novels together, while Elizabeth Ann Scarborough joined McCaffrey as co-author for all subsequent books beginning with the third installment.
