Yorkshire-based author Colin Campbell has made his mark in the thriller genre with two acclaimed series: the Vince McNulty Thrillers and the Jim Grant/Resurrection Man books.

Campbell brings authentic law enforcement experience to his crime fiction, having spent three decades with the West Yorkshire Metropolitan Police from 1976 to 2006. During his police career, he rose through the ranks from constable to Scenes Of Crime Officer, serving in both Leeds and Bradford. This extensive background in criminal investigation provides the foundation for the realistic detail that characterizes his writing.

After retiring from the force in February 2006, Campbell turned his focus to crafting crime novels, channeling his professional insights into gripping fictional narratives. When he's not writing, he enjoys playing tennis.
