Order of Clare MacKintosh Books

Clare MacKintosh traded her career in law enforcement for the world of writing, bringing her unique background as a former police officer and public order commander to her literary work. After years serving in the CID and as a public order commander, she made the bold decision to leave policing behind and pursue freelance journalism before turning to fiction writing.

Drawing on her law enforcement experience, MacKintosh crafted her debut novel, I Let You Go, which became an immediate success. The novel earned recognition from prestigious book clubs, including Richard and Judy Book Club and ITV's Loose Women's Loose Books. Her debut achieved New York Times bestseller status, a feat her second novel would also accomplish.

MacKintosh has made North Wales her home, where she now dedicates herself to writing full-time alongside her family.
