Christopher Reich is an American thriller novelist who brings a unique background in international finance to his writing. He earned degrees from Harvard and Georgetown University in international economics before spending two years as a stock broker. Reich then pursued an MBA at the University of Texas and relocated to Switzerland, where he worked for Union Bank of Switzerland for seven years.

Despite having no prior experience writing fiction or formal English literature education in college, Reich made the bold decision to try his hand at novel writing. This leap of faith paid off when he became a published author in 1998 with his debut thriller, Numbered Account.
