Chris Carter, a Brazilian thriller novelist, has packed enough experiences into his life to fuel several biographies. Following his high school graduation in Brazil, he relocated to the United States to pursue studies in psychology and criminal behavior. This academic foundation led him to work as a criminal psychologist, where he contributed to more than one hundred cases involving serial killers, murderers, and other dangerous criminals.

In a dramatic career shift, Carter traded psychology for music, pursuing life as a rock musician across Los Angeles and London. Eventually, he made yet another pivotal change, dedicating himself entirely to writing and creating his acclaimed Robert Hunter series.
