Writing under the pseudonym C.C. Benison, Canadian novelist Douglas Whiteway has carved out a distinctive niche in the mystery genre with his two acclaimed series: Her Majesty Investigates and the Father Christmas Mysteries. Whiteway brings a solid journalism background to his fiction writing, having contributed to both the Winnipeg Tribune and the Winnipeg Free Press during his newspaper career.

His educational foundation includes a B.A. in Religious Studies from the University of Manitoba and a journalism degree from Carleton University, credentials that inform the depth and authenticity of his storytelling.
