British novelist C.J. Skuse writes both YA and adult thrillers, bringing her academic expertise to her craft with First Class degrees in Creative Writing and Writing for Children. When she's not penning her own novels, she shares her knowledge by teaching Writing for Young People at Bath Spa University.
Skuse has some wonderfully eclectic interests—she's passionate about Masterchef, has a weakness for Gummy Bears, and finds herself drawn to murder sites. On the flip side, you won't catch her at carnivals, and she has a particular aversion to hardboiled eggs and coughing.
