Welsh psychological thriller author C.J. Cooper brings an eclectic background to her dark fiction. Armed with a degree in Ancient History and Egyptology, she spent time working as a development worker in Nepal before returning to Britain to embark on a 17-year career in the civil service, tackling everything from housing support to flood management. Eventually, she swapped her bowler hat for a keyboard to craft stories about psychotic killers. C.J. makes her home in London alongside her husband and two cats.
