Crime thriller novelist Brian McGilloway hails from Ireland and has built his reputation through two compelling police procedural series featuring Inspector Devlin and D.S. Lucy Black. A graduate of Queen's University Belfast with a degree in English, McGilloway was actively involved in university theater, earning recognition with the Irish Student Drama Association Award for his work in theatrical lighting design.

McGilloway launched his literary career in 2007 with "Borderlands," the inaugural novel in his Inspector Benedict Devlin series.
