Bradley P. Beaulieu stands as a prominent American fantasy writer, celebrated primarily for his acclaimed The Lays of Anuskaya series. After bringing that series to its conclusion with The Flames of Shadam Khoreh, Beaulieu launched into his subsequent project, The Song of the Shattered Sands series.

His journey as a novelist began during his college years when he first attempted to craft a fantasy novel. However, life's demands forced him to put the project on hold. The story continued to call to him, and in the early 2000s, he returned to his writing with renewed focus and commitment. His dedication paid off when he earned recognition at the Hotties, taking home both the Debut of the Year and Best New Voice awards.
