Beth Morrey is an English writer who specializes in women's fiction. Before finding success as a novelist, she built a career in television production while pursuing her dream of writing fiction for years. Her breakthrough came during maternity leave, when she penned her first novel, The Love Story of Missy Carmichael. The story was inspired by her daily walks to the park, where she observed the local community around her. Based in London with her family, Morrey launched her literary career in 2020 with the publication of her debut novel.
