Order of Belinda Bauer Books
British mystery and suspense novelist Belinda Bauer captivates readers with her compelling storytelling, most notably through her Jonas Holly/Exmoor Trilogy series. With roots spanning England and South Africa where she spent her formative years, Bauer brings a unique perspective to her atmospheric crime fiction.
Before establishing herself as a novelist, Bauer honed her craft in journalism and screenwriting. Her screenplay The Locker Room earned prestigious recognition with the Carl Foreman/BAFTA Award for Young British Screenwriters, with the honor presented by legendary actor Sidney Poitier. Her literary talents extend beyond novels to short fiction, as demonstrated when her story "Mysterious Ways" — featuring a girl marooned on a desert island alongside thirty-thousand Bibles — secured runner-up position in the competitive Rhys Davies Short Story Competition.
Currently residing in Wales, Bauer launched her publishing career in 2009 with her debut novel Blacklands, marking the beginning of what would become a celebrated body of work in contemporary crime fiction.
