Ashley Flowers is an American crime fiction author and podcaster whose path to storytelling began in an unexpected place: biomedical research. Her career took a pivotal turn when she joined Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana, where hands-on work with cold cases sparked a passion for podcasting and narrative-driven true crime. In 2017, she launched Audiochuck, a podcast network behind hit true crime series like Crime Junkie and The Deck.

Flowers stepped into fiction in 2022 with All Good People Here, a New York Times bestseller written alongside Alex Kiester. The duo teamed up again for The Missing Half, a crime novel released in 2025.
