Order of Anthony Doerr Books
American author Anthony Doerr grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, where he completed his education at University School in 1991. He went on to study history at Maine's Bowdoin College, earning his degree in 1995, followed by an MFA from Bowling Green State University.
Doerr burst onto the literary scene in 2001 with his debut short story collection The Shell Collector, followed by his first novel About Grace in 2004. His extraordinary talent reached its pinnacle with the publication of All the Light We Cannot See, which earned him the prestigious Pulitzer Prize in 2015.
The acclaimed novelist currently resides in Boise, Idaho, with his wife and twin sons.
