Order of Anne Perry Books

Anne Perry is a renowned English writer specializing in historical detective fiction and mystery novels. During her teenage years in New Zealand, Perry was involved in the murder of her friend's mother, a tragic event that later inspired the 1994 film Heavenly Creatures. In her adult life, Perry converted to the Mormon faith and relocated to Scotland, where she embarked on her writing career.

Perry launched her literary career in 1979 with The Cater Street Hangman and has since become celebrated for her Victorian-era mystery series featuring detectives Thomas Pitt and William Monk. Her body of work extends beyond these flagship series to include numerous other novels, such as her popular Christmas Stories crossover series.

Anne Perry's bibliography spans decades, beginning with her debut in 1979. Her published works include several titles with alternate names: Betrayal at Lisson Grove (also known as Treason at Lisson Grove), The Whited Sepulchres (published as A Breach of Promise), and A Christmas Journey (titled Journey Towards Christmas in some editions). Perry has also contributed to collaborative works, including the multi-author novels Naked Came the Phoenix and I'd Kill for That, as well as Price of Desire alongside Ed McBain and Donald E. Westlake. Additionally, she co-edited the anthology Death by Horoscope with Martin H. Greenberg.
