Anna Jacobs is a prolific English-Australian novelist who masterfully spans multiple genres, crafting compelling historical, romantic, contemporary, and science fiction/fantasy tales. Writing under her own name, her birth name Sherry-Anne Jacobs, and the pseudonym Shannah Jay, she has established herself as a versatile storyteller with an impressive body of work.

Her literary achievements include winning the prestigious Australian Romantic Novel of the Year award in 2006 for Pride of Lancashire, along with numerous other shortlist nominations for the same honor.
