Order of Anna Burns Books
Anna Burns is an Irish novelist whose powerful storytelling has earned her international acclaim, particularly for her works No Bones, Little Constructions, and Milkman. Her breakthrough came with Milkman, which captured both the 2018 Man Booker Prize and the 2020 International Dublin Literary Award, while also earning a spot on the 2019 Women's Prize for Fiction shortlist.
A Belfast native, Burns relocated to London during the 1980s and currently resides in East Sussex. Her literary debut came in 2001 with No Bones, which immediately established her as a significant voice in contemporary fiction by winning the Winifred Holtby Memorial Prize from the Royal Society of Literature, recognizing it as the finest regional novel of the year across the United Kingdom and Ireland.
