Order of Angie Sage Books

Born into a literary family with a publisher father, British author Angie Sage discovered her creative passion early while growing up in London's Thames Valley region. Her father's gifts of blank books sparked her love for drawing and storytelling, setting the foundation for her future career.

Though initially drawn to medicine, Sage ultimately pursued her artistic calling by studying Graphic Design and Illustration at Leicester's Art School. This education led her into the world of book illustration, where she honed her skills creating board books for young readers from 1998 to 2002 before transitioning into writing.

Sage burst onto the literary scene in 2005 with *Magyk*, the inaugural novel of her beloved Septimus Heap series, which has become her signature work in YA fantasy. She has also captivated younger audiences with her Araminta Spookie series. Known for both her writing and occasional illustration work, Sage continues to enchant readers with her imaginative children's and young adult fantasy novels.
