Angie Kim is a Korean-American writer who achieved literary acclaim with her novel Miracle Creek. This breakout work became a critical sensation, earning recognition as one of Time Magazine's Best Books of the Year and receiving praise from major publications such as The Washington Post, Kirkus, Library Journal, The Today Show, and Amazon. Kim's storytelling prowess also caught the attention of Variety Magazine, which named her among their 10 Storytellers to Watch.

Born in Korea, Kim immigrated from Seoul to Baltimore during her preteen years. Her academic journey took her to Stanford University and later Harvard Law School, where she distinguished herself as an editor of the prestigious Harvard Law Review. She spent several years practicing as a trial lawyer before transitioning to focus on her writing career. Kim currently resides in Northern Virginia with her husband and children.
