Andrea Cremer crafts captivating YA fantasy novels, most notably the beloved Nightshade series. Growing up in Northern Wisconsin's wooded landscapes, she nurtured her imagination through endless daydreaming when she wasn't exploring the forest. While her love for writing began early, Andrea first pursued academia as a history professor at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. This unique background allows her to weave together her dual passions for historical knowledge and fantastical storytelling in her fiction. She transitioned to writing full-time and currently makes her home in New York.
