Order of Alex Scarrow Books
Alex Scarrow is a British novelist who crafts compelling stories across multiple genres, including crime fiction, science fiction, alternative history, and thrillers for readers of all ages. His notable series include DCI Boyd, Ellie Quin, Last Light, and TimeRiders.
Before establishing himself as an author, Scarrow explored various creative paths. He initially pursued music as a rock musician but abandoned that career when he concluded a recording contract was unlikely. His artistic journey then led him through graphic design and video game development before he ventured into screenwriting. It was his transition from script to prose that launched his literary career—his screenplay evolved into his debut novel A Thousand Suns. He shares a literary connection with his brother Simon Scarrow, who is also an established novelist.
Scarrow entered the publishing world in 2006 with A Thousand Suns, marking the beginning of his successful writing career.
