Order of Alex George Books

Alex George is a multi-talented English author who seamlessly blends his passion for literature with his legal expertise. After earning his law degree from Oxford University, he spent eight years practicing corporate law in London and Paris before relocating to the United States, where he continues to work as an attorney in his free time.

In America, George channeled his love of books into entrepreneurship by establishing Skylark Bookshop in Columbia, Missouri. His commitment to the literary community extends further through his founding and leadership of The Unbound Book Festival, cementing his role as both a bookseller and literary festival director.

George launched his fiction career in 1999 with his debut novel Working It Out. He shares his life in Columbia, Missouri with his wife, Alexandra Socarides—herself an accomplished writer, professor, and critic—and their four children.
