Born in Burbank, Illinois, A.J. Steiger spent her formative years in the greater Chicago area before pursuing her passion for storytelling at Columbia College in Chicago, where she earned her degree in Fiction Writing. She made her mark in young adult literature with her debut novel Mindwalker, and readers can look forward to the upcoming sequel Mindstormer, both published by Knopf Books.

At thirty-one, A.J. embraces her identity as a self-proclaimed nerd and enjoys craft beer and spending time with dogs when she's not crafting her next story.
